Notes

Shrub or perennial forb to 30cm tall or sprawling.  Leaves succulent, 0.5-1cm long, linear to flattened cylindrical, hairy.  Flowers tiny (less than 3mm across), solitary at the bases of the leaves.  Burrs sparsely hairy, with 2 spines.  Vulnerable Vic.

Differs from Sclerolaena obliquicuspis in that the two spines ascend in the same vertical plane.
